Ganga Cotton Candy - 07

This was my very first time trying mercerized cotton thread, and I am completely in love with it. It is soft and works up beautifully. I used a size 12 steel hook for this project, as I found that an aluminum hook did not glide very smoothly with this thread.

Using my own design, I managed to complete four full coasters, and you can see the leftover thread in the center of the photo.

The pieces still need to be blocked, but the stitch definition is already excellent. I will definitely be investing more in this thread in the future and highly recommend it.
